Dan Vickery
Dan brings a decade of experience in the clean energy space with particular expertise in energy storage, having contributed in various capacities to over 4,000 MWh ($1B+) of energy storage projects currently in operation or construction.
He joins SSI from Primergy Solar, where he supported the development and commercialization of solar and solar + storage projects. Prior to his role with Primergy Solar, Dan was responsible for energy storage at sPower (now AES Clean Energy) where he supported and/or led the development, engineering, design, procurement, pricing, and commercial structuring of energy storage and solar + storage projects. Dan first began working in the energy development space in 2014, joining the small team at Green Charge Networks to begin commercializing energy storage for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) buildings. At Green Charge, Dan led a team of individuals responsible for project analysis, market strategy, market optimization, policy, and business development. In 2016, the Green Charge platform became one of the first major acquisitions in the nascent energy storage sector when it was acquired by French utility giant ENGIE. Post-acquisition, Dan led energy storage business development for ENGIE in North America.
Prior to his time in development shops, Dan began his career with Washington DC consulting firm ICF International, providing strategic advisory services to Federal and State governments and private organizations in the energy and transportation sectors.
