Lambros Theofanidis
Lambros Theofanidis has 13 years of clean energy and investing experience with $4.3 billion of successful projects under his belt. He’s worked across the project and company lifecycle, from seed and development capital raising, to market strategy, asset prospecting, investment analysis, revenue contract negotiations, project financing, EPC contracting, optimization of operating assets, and project and company M&A. His work has spanned solar, wind, storage, and EV charging.
Prior to joining Segue, Lambros helped launch a large-scale EV charging developer and revamped a solar developer’s business strategy via a consulting firm he founded. Prior, as a Director at Cypress Creek Renewables, he led commercial transactions on $2.4 billion (1.6 GW) of successful solar and storage projects. He was a core member of the “turnaround team” that primed Cypress Creek for its successful sale to EQT. He joined Cypress from SunEdison, where he worked on commercial transactions in development, M&A, and financing of $1.9 billion (0.9 GW) of successful wind and solar projects. Lambros began his career launching the (then) largest demand response program in the United States at an Exelon utility.
Lambros graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania.
