Velisa Li
Velisa brings three years of utility-scale renewable energy procurement experience to the team at Segue. She joins from the Renewables Advisory team at Edison Energy, where she assisted several Fortune 500 corporate buyers in procuring over 1.2 GW of utility-scale renewable energy. In working with corporate renewable energy buyers, she has educated buyers on market trends and insights, led competitive solicitations for solar and wind power purchase agreements (PPAs), evaluated contract cash flows, and performed due diligence on projects under consideration. In addition to advising corporate buyers, Velisa monitored PPA pricing across U.S. markets and technologies to identify transactable contract prices, maintained relationships with various utility-scale developers, and was a founding member of Edison Energy’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce.
Velisa holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Engineering & Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
