Wopamo Osaisai
Wopamo brings over 8 years of substantive renewable energy experience. He joins Segue from Lightsource BP, where he oversaw an operational portfolio of large-scale utility solar assets. Prior to Lightsource BP, Wopamo was at New Energy Solar and led Asset Management and O&M teams on various strategic initiatives to ensure long term portfolio performance of small-scale utility solar assets.
Wopamo spent over 6 years with Clearway Energy as an Operations Manager, focused on the execution of development, construction, funding, and operation strategies for over 500 MW / $1.8 billion in actively operating community solar and distributed generation onsite solar projects across the Continental US and Hawaii.
Before transitioning to renewable energy, Wopamo was a Program Manager with the Canadian Red Cross – leading the First Nations disaster recovery program for the 2013 Southern Alberta Floods to rebuild adversely affected communities.
Wopamo has a B.S. in Science, Technology & Society from Stanford University and is a retired professional athlete, spending time in both the NFL and CFL.
